Ditto.

I love the way they go from the manic/eyeballs out stuff to the ethereal delicate wooden music

Delightful

It's kinda sweet, while definitely not saccharine.

I love the way this theme will be seen as cutting edge in 20 years, and young people then will be asking 'so why did you believe Hotel California and Anarchy In The UK were more worthy topics to sing about than saving the Earth?'

Edgar (now reverting back to his first name, Rob) is a very good guitarist.

When I spoke to him at the 100 Club, Oxford Street he said he was going to be playing gigs at peoples houses if they invited him - just him and his acoustic guitar with the payment of a meal and a bed!!!

I followed it up about a year later and saw he did this in the UK, Scandinavia and Europe!

not that anyone here is gonna care about this (mwhahaha) but the REVERSE effect happened on zep's presence. the remastering actually fixed the same-gweetar-tone-shrillness i hated about the album when it came out.

so. just sayin.

In places where such things are discussed, the very heavy NR applied to the Harvest and United Artists catalogues (and others) in the 90s is considered a tragedy and a scandal.

I cannot hear hiss here. But I can hear high hat and cymbals and a full vocal range. On the 90s versions I could not. The same forces ruined the classic Hawkwind catalogue, only rectified decades later.

You have Roy Harper on this album as well. Edgar reciprocated by playing on Bullinamingvase, I believe. They knew each other from many shared festivals.
