Another Roy Harper colleague - I saw a very moving Roy Harper show in which a sinfonia accompanied on arrangements rehearsed by David Bedford, who died sadly before the actual performance.

Both Roy Harper and The Edgar Broughton Band were managed by Blackhill Enterprises, another connection.

as usual, i came into roy harper late (except for, like, floyd and zep plays)... incredible stuff

C will know I knew him when he moved to Montreal, but had a less familiar experience when he sat next to me at the Van Der Graaf Generator reunion at the Royal Festival Hall.

A strange and troubled man, I feel...

A story for another time.

My mum referred to the Dr Spock books - not that she read them but she was aware of his doctrine regarding bases and childcare.

That was 1953

Just catching Roy's vocals on this next bonus track.

It doth bounce merrily.

For those who cannot stay, I wish you all the best of the week.

the first time i ever even knew his name was the zep track, and then roy's vocals on have a cigar. i didn't actually hear his music til this board. it's great music, however fucqued up he is. but... welll.. ya know how i am. i will draw my lines according to... er.. me. mwhaha. i much prefer to know. ignorance is never bliss, in my mind. i will weigh things. this is what i do.

cheers, everyone.

Fabulous album!

I am drawn to this, but is it a rehash of the 90s remasters?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Album ... sic&sr=1-2

I will do some digging...
