Has anyone got this and had problems with ripping the CDs as has been reported or has it now been fixed ? Would really like to get is , but not so keen if you can't rip the CDs

It's a disaster. You can read on the Hoffman site they are still trying to sort it out via emails from customers and postal replacements.

I would not need to rip the discs, but they are bowl-shaped and you cannot even play them.

One of the worst reissue pressing fuckups in history.

Yes, lots of people have been having problems. Apparently if you contact the company you can get replacement disks and/or a download (but it’s big).

My copy plays fine on the Linn, but I had problems ripping one of the disks.

All the discs play fine. Haven't tried to rip them though.

You can buy it in some shops where they have copies in stock. And on the secondhand market, obvs.

There is a debate over whether it is 'sold out' or was pulled from sale until the problems can be addressed.

Personally, I am done buying things having been forewarned that once you get them home, you then have to initiate the process of sorting out the issues with the manufacturer.
