Incidentally, that's Andy White on tubs who replaced Ringo Starr on drums on the Beatles' first single, Love Me Do

I'm playing the CD, which means, if you don't, I can ask you questions garnered from the liner notessuch as "Where did they get the name Trader Horne from?"

That's not in the liner notes. I'd assumed it was the Yes man. Thanks!

Indeed - like Jorma a couple of weeks ago

It just soaks up your sole

Lovely

Judy had a great voice "unceremoniously dumped" by Fairport before the first album was released

According to WIkipedia, there was a festival in Newcastle organised to launch Trader Horne. Before they could play, Judy left the band! So they did not play, and the slot was used to launch...Mungo Jerry.

Indubitably.

I've had a bit of an emotional ride today - I've retired after 29 years of teaching in the same school.

This is most calming.

oh my. 29 years is an amazing amount of time, fighting the good fight. out of all the feelings you feel, i hope being proud comes first and foremost.

i only managed 13 years, but i was so very torn when i stopped. i still have students who talk to me, and i haven't taught since '99.
