I found a piece of paper - CCC

Postby billy » 20 Jun 2020, 00:52

On it was this list:

CCC

Puppet Rock (5th dimension/Queen)
Music Shaped (Booker T/Madonna)
April Waterfall (Simon Garfunkel/Stone Roses)
Psychesmellica (Supremes/Lulu/Beatles/Zombies/Ringo etc)
Let's Shack (Rolling Stones/B52s)
Tax Jam Pollution (Beatles/Jam/Beck)
Isn't She Lovely (Stevie Wonder/Michael Jackson)
Say A Little Sloop (Beach Boys/Aretha Franklin)
Girl Only Knows (Beatles/Beach Boys)
Tom's Investigations (Suzanne Vega/Dire Straits)
Stand By Me (Ben E King/Police)

Wasn't this something to do with someone from here? 'Mashups' or whatever the term was?

Was it any good? I'm quite intrigued ...

My memory is shot these days ...

I think that was chrischrischris who now runs (I think) a pretty fun podcast. @IAmTheEggPod

Semi-celebrity (I gather) guests pick a Beatle or Beatle related album and talk about it. I often find myself wishing that Chris would be the one talking about the music, but so it goes.

His mashups were usually really entertaining.
(words i never thought I’d type)

Me neither. Only discovered them recently and have enjoyed the three I've heard.

I don’t know for a fact that it’s the same dude, but someone must’ve said it here in the past. Also, on the podcast, there are lots of interludes with Beatle mashups, and the guy IS named Chris.
