I've grown very fond of one of your submissions to the Folk Cup final (and the album it comes from) over the last few months.

The album gave birth to a Broadway musical.

And its cast appeared at Tiny Desk just the other day, and it's moving me to tears.
There's some breathtaking singing going on here, and the diversity of the cast really makes one dream of a better world.

That is very cool! Really enjoyed that clip, like a New Orleans party! Thanks Felix!

I picked up Hadestown after hearing Wedding Song on a radioshow- it reminded me of Wrecking Ball in the way it had that depth in sound,like a Lanois-production and found it had a much different aesthetic in virtually every song. It was definitely a keeper for me.
