that is SO warrren. the man pours it allllllllllllllllllllllllll out.

i've been pretty close to him, like five feet, but that shot is incredible

i've been to tip's prolly 30 times. does that count? heee heee heeeee

I've seen Warren in so many different bands easily 25-30 times. Of course the killer was 7 hours straight of Warren (One for Woody show-he played in all four bands and endless guests an amazing night)

This shot is from the Bowery Ballroom(small venue) and I was up close. Unfortunately its my only shot of the night as they told me no more pictures.

really digging this album the mix of Gregg and Warren and the mix of Warren/Trucks with a little percussions!

this is truly a great album.

i saw warren my share with the allmans, and then that gov't mule show in nash, the tour after woody died.

i do not know exactly how long he played that night, but my feet were sore for days, mwhaahaha

i was SICK when i couldn't hit that nola show with the dirty dozen. at my fave venue. thank heaven for DVDS

I went to see Gov't Mule in my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee in 2006, in May, the Dogwood Arts Festival. It was a free outdoor show. I went to the USA specially and to have a family reunion. But my sister gave me a ticket to see Bob Dylan and Merle Haggard play a benefit show in a small venue round the corner the same night.

My high school buddy Jimmy and I stood in front of the Mule stage right until the last second, but we wanted to catch Haggard (SO glad I did!). We did not hear the Mule sing a note of their show!

HOWEVER... after a great set from Haggard and a crowd-pleasing set from Dylan (nearly all mid-sixties tunes - all your favourites - Ballad of a Thin Man, Highway 61, She Belongs To Me, Stuck Inside of Mobile, Maggie's Farm, Just LIke A Woman, etc), we were singing the encores in full voice, bellowing away from the back of the venue, where we had moved to get out before the crush - I suddenly thought 'I know that voice!' - the guy singing next to us was Warren Haynes! All three of them having finished their show had come in to hear the end of Dylan's!

So I got to sing 'Like A Rolling Stone' and 'All Along The Watchtower' with Gov't Mule and my friend Jimmy!

A night of nights...

I swear I never make this stuff up!!!!

it aint all that surprising that warren was singin along like that.

he just loves music so damn much.

the massssssive amount of covers he's done... it's incredible, really.

the night we saw mule, he went into low spark of high heeled boys... it was awesome
