I love Terry's guitar playing

His solo album Fall Out is worth investigating.

Not great but adequate

Yes - he should, somehow, higher profile.

Perhaps he was too much in the jazz bracket and therefore side-tracked by more mainstream rock .....

Yes. Usually guaranteed to bring a smile to my face. It's that organ/guitar with a horn line combo. I'm a sucker for a good horn line punching out.
