The guitar is not so prominent as on 1 and 2 but it is omnipresent and when it does come to the fore is mind-blowing

This was the B side of Forgotten Roads, I think it's even more commercial. Certainly a lusher, more polished sound - it's the angelic choir in the background.


Good guitar, not too melodramatic.

Unfortunately I only saw them live once in 1970 - they spent a lot of the time in Europe - particularly Germany which was a shame for us British fans

Still they left a couple of fine live albums and five excellent studio albums.

then half the band left and they imploded

Seldom Seen Sam is nice quirky number
