Preferred Dirty Water

Postby Rorschach » 14 May 2020, 16:35

I really like The Standells. The album Try It is one of my favourites by anyone.
And they were on The Munsters.

Anyway, I only just found out, thanks to The Slider, Status Quo also did a song called Dirty Water and it's pretty good. The beginning sounds like Discovering Japan!

So, which is better for you?

he original:

or the Johnny-come-latelies?

Bugger off.

I meant a different song with the same title. There must be a lot of versions of this one.

The version you've posted is pretty good though.

*EDIT* Actually, I love it. I've never actually listened to this bunch before. I'm going to have to look into them.

Sorry. That’s what I get for reading the subject line and not listening to the Quo cut. It’s a song they could do, though!

Ha ha! Totally.
In fact, when I saw the track listing that's what I assumed it was.
