African sax player who gave us Soul Makossa.

Corona related. He was 86.

My all-time favorite African recording artist. I will miss him terribly. RIP

Great artist, great history...heard him tell about being cast out for being an albino in a griot society.
His performances were without fail extraordinary. Great energy and passion and a story for all.
To hear he died of corona is exceptionally sad.
