I can’t believe we’ve seen them live C. 40 years ago I wouldn’t have thought it possible.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

I blasted it out early one morning back in my Our Price days - instant attraction. Probably played it daily for a week or so.

Good old Our Price.

Regular plays? Indeed - a corker!

I can add that 'At the Sound Of' then also received regular plays, though never daily. Definitely sold a couple of copies of that to customers who heard it in store, sadly a feat that Pampered Menial didn't achieve.

The Natchez Trace, also known as the "Old Natchez Trace", is a historic forest trail within the United States which extends roughly 440 miles....

Cracking band, a great recording. In some ways it reminds me of the production of Bat Out of Hell, probably in being a very polished more than the sound.

A much softer album than Pampered but very robust nonetheless - it's certainly not so instant

Amazingly, my kid brother who had pampered since 1975 had never heard Sound of until I bought it for him this Christmas.

He wasn't that impressed but I told him to give it time...

Great violin from the late Siegfried Carver aka Richard Nadler iirc. Died 2009.

I’m on Spotify despite owning 4 copies on record and 2 on CD
