Oh, that’s really sad news. One of the greats.

I fucking loved The Bonzos.

Very sad news. I’m playing Keynsham as I type this. I always enjoyed the streak of melancholy that ran through quite a lot of his work. People talk Python but I will always remember Do Not Adjust Your Set back in my school days. Life is so short!

RIP Neil.

Noooooooo!

This year is ending quite badly.

I love a lot of what he did but especially his work with the Bonzos. He and Viv Stanshall made a great team.
Bugger off.

Yes. I'm sure a couple of people recently mentioned seeing the Ruttles as their most recent gig. It does seem rather sudden.

Shocked, was listening to his recent podcast interviews earlier in the year. Lovely guy by all accounts. Very sad.

One of my favourite Innes/Stanshall compositions:

A beautiful song.

The Bonzos were one of the sounds of my youth.

By all accounts a lovely man.

RIP.

This one really stung. Hard to think of any other musician whose music consistently brought a smile to my face.
