We are going to Damnation Alley in a hell-cart. Let’s enjoy this while we can.

I have six grandchildren to worry about. But not right now. Now, is a beautiful violin solo.

Play that violin

The last time I saw Simon House in Hawkwind was 2002 in the Assembly Halls, Walthamstow, east London.

The smell of dope was palpable

A great night with my wife to be (I'm not sure she was too impressed but she occasionally still talks about 'the experience')

I saw Hawkwind on the Astounding Sounds tour, but not this one. Anyone?

Fable of a Failed Race. The longer version is most excellent.

classically trained

Ex- Third Ear Band and High Tide of course. The debut of the latter from 1969 is one of the heaviest records ever nade. Stunning

Fable is a lovely track

Never seen them.

Closest was nearly going to a gig in Reading circa '75, probably fell short of funds or was hopelessly lusting after a lass at a party.

You've heard my John Peel Show story about seeing them before the first album was released...?

Described by Melody Maker as 'Pink Floyd on acid'
