Nice'n'cheesy "dansktop" lyrics from a bygone era:
Hallo, Hr. General
Hallo, Hr. General
Jeg har en bøn til dem
Send min Henrik hjem
roughly translated as:
Hello, Mr. General
Hello, Mr. General
I have a request for you
Send my Henrik home
Hallo, Hr. General

The ONLY time I got to see them live, it was an acoustic set, alas. The drummer played on an upside down plastic bucket.

Back to the song: 1973 was an interesting year. You could rewrite a German schlager and make it about a housewife asking for her hubby to be sent home, because she does not want to live in celibacy. Risqué lyrics, perhaps, certainly for Sunday afternoon family radio programming. Had it been another time in another genre, the housewife would have had it off with the milkman.
