That said, I DO love the live "Crossroads" that starts album two and am currently listening to it.
Thanks, all! Great time as always.

Deserted Cities just tugs at my hippie heart. Love that string bit inside the verses... like caramel inside a chocolate sweet.

R.I.P. Ginger and Jack.
An interesting fact just occurred to me.
Both Jack and Ginger played in Graham Bond's Organisation:
Graham Bond - keyboards, vocals
Jack Bruce - bass guitar, vocals
Dick Heckstall-Smith - saxophone
John McLaughlin - guitar
Ginger Baker - drums, percussion
Jon Hiseman - drums
They are now all dead except Johnny Mc
A morbid thought.....

And now my wife's decided that she'd rather read a book in bed, so I'm onto Spoonful.
What a sound they generated.

Yes, I'm playing the live set now....
Great way to start the day.
And thanks to daylight savings time I can enjoy these sessions now at a suitable time too.

This was one my tapes that I had at university - a small collection of probably around 20 albums - have heard it many, many times in various states of mind - music to get lost in.
