I don't know either band well, though am more familiar with ELP than Nice - from my little bit of knowledge I'm inclined to agree.

Possible I've not heard it (hangs head).

Elegy & Five Bridges I know the best, preferred Bridges but not hugely enamoured of either at the time. I do have very fond memories of my mate who owned them. He was rather into Gentle Giant too - much better! To absent friends.
