For me, not in the same class as Moving Waves (my favourite), or 3. But it’s been a while, so I shall listen with fresh ears.

Evening JJ

It's a shame our dear friend Slim/Huw isn't with us - he loves this album

Shame indeed - and he's right to adore it, one of their best. Some days I think it is their best, though it is Moving Waves more often.

Reasonably now - joining the synch listens has led me to listening to them again - some of my mates were fans so I heard a fair amount of Focus in the mid 70s. Even bought Ship of Memories when it was new!

It is a very strong album and one of their best.

I always gravitate to Focus 3 though as their finest moment but this and Moving Waves are close.

It's a shame they went off the rails after only four albums [the fifth has its moments]

An album with PJ Proby…? What the fucque!

Not many words for Thijs to remember in this song!

La Cathedrale de Strasbourg
ding dong, ding dong,

La nostalgie, se reveille

Mystified me briefly until I clicked on your link - had brief visions of miniature dungarees!

We'll play the non-LP track Early Birth (on the 1988 CD)

Early Birth shall we?

Birth - this is a corker!

'ere we go!
