A few notes about Govt Mule, from hightea
1. Warren is amazing
2. Miss Allen Woody they were better with him (I saw the last show with him - he died in a NY hotel a few days later)
3. Matt Abts is a great drummer
4. I've seen warren with a least 10 different bands
5. I was at the benefit show for Allen Woody (9/20/00)- Warren played guitar for 7 hours that night as he played with all the bands- Phil Lesh & Friends, Black Crows, Allman Brothers and then an endless Govt Mule and friends with tons of guests. crazy night

hiya!!

so jealous of the woody benefit. but i did get to see warren with the allmans from the front row. caught my lone drumstick there. mwhahaha

nice I've got a Matt drum stick somewhere think it was from a Blue Floyd show(Matt Abts and Allen Woody had a side band with Mark Ford and others they covered Pink Floyd with a blues touch)- they even synched Alice and Wonderland to a show of DSOTM.

Damn forgot Warrens killer jams on this album

didn't take pictures back then here i Warren in 2006

This'll help

Superb, excellent, great, etc. 'Lovely Jubbly' was originally an advertising slogan for 'Jubbly', a triangular-shaped frozen orange drink which was popular in the 1950s and 60s. Later popularised by the character 'Del Boy' in British comedy 'Only fools and Horses'.

Rodney: "'Ere Del Boy, geezer over there says he'll give you a pony for the Betamax video recorder if you throw in a case of that Yugoslavian Scotch."
Del: "Lovely Jubbly!"
