RIP Mr. Williams. He had a hell of a life in music, decades-long and with so many singing, writing and producing credits.

Here's a personal fave from the '60s ~

:(

He's humpin' in Heaven now.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Sad news. My friend's band backed him up on a European tour and various other dates in the late 90's, and I met him a couple times. He was always a gentleman, but things could get pretty crazy once he'd gotten into the rum. He spent quite a bit of time in Toronto around then, and a lot of my friends in the music scene are eulogizing him on facebook. Some good stories!

Andre Williams was a man who knew how to move with the times and continue to shock. He touched our lives in ways we can only begin to understand. With his passing, the 1950s R&B scene has come to a close. I praise myself lucky to have experienced him live in concert. RIP Andre Williams
