I was wondering what that burning sensation in my ears was!

Goodness, how awful. Best to keep that kind of thing to Facebook I reckon :)

I don’t think I’ve ever knowingly heard anything other than Africa by Toto, in all honesty.

You need the triptych in your life.

I know it’s rubbish, but don’t let it put you off all other music for life!

you know where to go! :)

you know, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. that is, unless you'd rather talk about TOTO of course.

I like it. It's a good board. first of all there are people over there who (for whatever reason) don't want to post over here. Now, my memory is not completely shot quite yet so I remember some of those people and it's nice seeing they are still around. However, there are posters I like over here who (for whatever reason) don't want to post over there. you see where I'm going with this?

there's another small matter that bears mentioning.
there's an awful lot of talk over there about how much the people suck over here. well, in the immortal words of George Jones - I'm a people and I like the people over here.

I know complaining is the crickets and birdsong of an active forum but even though that board is more active in several ways - it is most active in this -
(bitching about this board. not entirely fair but look in your heart - there's something to it)

I think that's how a lot of people are with both boards right now. they'd love there to be active entertaining discussions but they've got a lot to do. this makes all the complaining a little easier to spot.

They're banning new members today for having posted absolutely Nothing to date except for 'liking' a few posts.

You need to check out Roseanna! It's not quite as good as 'Africa' ..in the same way that St. Peter’s Basilica isn't quite as good as The Cistine Chapel.

You know, I've never really paid that much attention to Toto, but the writing on this thread has been so eye-opening that I think I'll now purchase their entire catalog in all formats. That's what this place is good for, you know?

don't you want to wait for the 5.1 surround re-master box that comes with sheet music and a turkey dinner with all the trimmings?

I'll probably get that too.

Plus the vinyl.
