Since Robyn Hitchcock wandered out of my peripheral vision and sat right in my lap a couple of years ago I have been milking everything out of him that I can. This can reduce me to rubble, daily.

I am "at" flamenco at the moment, so Sierra Magica by Pepe Justicia - from one of those "rough guide" comps.

Lingua Ignota - God Gave Me No Name

An incredible voice, dealing with the subject (and personal experience) of domestic abuse, somewhere between Diamanda Galas, Zola Jesus and SPK. Just in a different league to everything else around.

The Delines - I won't slip up

Five years old now but with the new album being out it's worth revisiting the old one.

I'm a bit obsessed about this at the moment. Trying to nail it on my new Guild Aviator. Its a bit tricky (for me). Apart from that Garage Inc is my go to commute record at the moment.

I've toyed with this one too - to me, it's one of the best songs he's ever written!

But the one thing that sent me proselytizing lately is the first song here:

I’m not here very often, but I am here.

What to. Chose? This doesn’t say. Much about my life, but it’s possibly the best song I’ve heard for a fair few years....
