Well, it's an instrumental mix of rock, jazz, bluegrass and chamber music, so you might also call it fusion.

Whatever it is, I like it!

And I was there when this happened


They doctored the violin bits a little for the Night of the Living the Dregs album, but Steve Morse plays fabulously!

To the extent prog overlaps with fusion, I suppose.
