I've become re-engrossed with this album. Wilsey died over Christmas, reports of his death weren't pretty, he went out hard.
Anyway for those that don't know, this is the guy who used to play bass in the Avengers but more notably did the superb guitar work on Chris Isaac's 'Wicked Game'. Anyway, if you like timeless, reverb drenched, stratocaster tones and ethereal sonic landscapes - this is the album for you.

(Surely we can agree that nothing else counts as a "Sex Pistols album.")

Someone on here -- possibly me -- once made the argument that if you cut the filler out of The Great Rock & Roll Swindle soundtrack, it would make a decent single album.

I don't know what you'd call the thing other than a "Sex Pistols album," the salient distinction being that they didn't "make" it.

For a band that only released one album in their day, they have a burgeoning CD discography.

Actually a Joe Cocker album but the band - that band! - only once captured on record.

This is sort of cheating because they did put out two albums though due to a change in band members they were a different band Imo.
