According to Peter Jackson, “I was relieved to discover the reality is very different to the myth. After reviewing all the footage and audio that Michael Lindsay-Hogg shot 18 months before they broke up, it’s simply an amazing historical treasure-trove. Sure, there’s moments of drama – but none of the discord this project has long been associated with."
"None"? Really?
When I read the headline, this is more or less what I was afraid of.

It'll probably be a white-washed account of the Get Back sessions where they seem to all be getting along. The article does say the original Let it Be movie will be rereleased though - that, I know I will enjoy.

He is going to replace the Beatles with the Teletubbies, and the whole film will narrated by Toyah from inside the sun. It is how it came to be .

The old Beatles docs are a bit staid now, he might breath some new life into the Beatles story telling concept. "They Shall Not Grow Old" was absolutely amazing. Not a straight-forward documentary, but who needs another Ken Burns style doc on WWI? I thought it was incredible and hopefully he'll do the same with the 1969 footage.

Whether the commentary whitewashes it or not, I just want to see as much new footage as possible.
