Ace of Spades - and perhaps a comp.

Ok dude. They *were* still excellent.

Glad I got to see them. Double bill with Anthrax.

Brilliant night.

Yes.

And 'No sleep till Hammersmith' to show how cool one is.

I agree totally - it's even what I actually own.

A band I vaguely know told the story of how you know when it's time to leave Lemmy's dressing room:

"Hey Lemmy, we're stoked to be playing with you! You're a legend!"
"Well the problem with being a legend is nobody knows you got a new album out."
"Oh.... do you have a new album out?"
"Grab a beer on your way out, would ya?"

It is now time to leave Lemmy's dressing room.

I could pare it down to 'No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith' and be happy.
If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

No Sleep is horribly muddy and indistinct sounding
Those first three Bronze albums are crisp and perfect.
I find it hard to listen to the live one - and always did.
It bristles with energy but it don;t sound very good
The Complete Slade Mp3 set now available in the usual place, should you want one.

Don't listen to the debut very often. And March or Die was kind of a weird point in their career, some not very inspired songs on that one. Other than those, I rate all the rest very highly. Very much agree with the praise for Another Perfect Day, a fantastic album.

Bastards is another one of those "lost" albums, I think it's fantastic. Came out on a weird label that didn't last long and was out of print for a long time.

I could listen to any of them on any given day and be made happier for doing so.

I’ll do what I can to make this given day happier and listen to some Motörhead.

I think i have all i need.

Overkill - brilliant
Bomber - still very good
Ace Of Spades - classic hard rock
No Sleep 'Till Hammersmith - Great live album
Another Perfect Day - Essential and underappreciated

No Remorse compilation - Brilliant, and it has 'KiIled By Death' on it, perhaps their finest song

Orgasmatron is pretty good, but i don't have it. The rest? Not heard much, but i have a feeling diminishing returns had seriously set in. Just albums made as an excuse to get back out on the road with something to punt.

I do think Iron Fist was a disappointing end to the classic Lemmy/Philthy Animal/Fast Eddie line up. That got traded in years ago,
