The reviews on IMDB - all 10 of them - range from 1 to 9 stars. The S/T album reviews have all been strong enough to persuade me to buy it.
Aside from the John Prine version of Clay Pigeons and Lucinda Williams' Drunken Angel, barely seems to be known outside the US. Any fans here who can tell us more than the usual Wikipedia bio?

Re: Blaze Foley biopic - anyone seen it?
I’ve seen it.
It was a good film. I appreciated that it didn’t make Blaze out to be the lunatic he is often painted as. I guess the worst thing I could say about it is that it didn’t make enough of a case for his songs being special. It did that more for Townes Van Zandt.
I’d also add that Charlie Sexton was great as Townes. Hope they bring him back to do a biopic on him.

Didn't see it. Have a cd of his but wasn't convinced at the time.
