Then there was the time Zilth Pilchards and I spotted Jeff Beck in the street, outside Zilth's flat (room). I went up to the great man and started gushing about Yardbirds and told him I didn't have a pen on me. Jeff Beck replied, smiling, "Neither have I." And off he went. What’s weird about this latest story is it derives from a form email complaint made by someone who isn’t Jimmy Page. So all that stuff about beer-gutted Plant being imitated by Robbie and the pillow starts to sound like horseshit.

Well that’s what’s being reported. The form email in question is linked to on this thread. The Guardian reports it was written by someone named ‘Jonny’, see https://amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/201 ... ter-claims
The tone of the form email seems too light, almost satirical, and surely it would come from Page’s lawyer not some random named Jonny? It all smells a bit to me. Happy to read other evidence though.
