It's New Year's Day and I am eating marshmallows

Postby HEN » 01 Jan 2019, 19:04

A marshmallow is a sugar-based confectionery that in its modern form typically consists of sugar, water and gelatin whipped to a squishy consistency, molded into small cylindrical pieces, and coated with corn starch. Some marshmallow recipes call for eggs.

The word "marshmallow" comes from the mallow plant species (Althaea officinalis), an herb native to parts of Europe, North Africa, and Asia which grows in marshes and other damp areas. The plant's stem and leaves are fleshy and its white flower has five petals. It is not known exactly when marshmallows were invented, but their history goes back as early as 2000 B.C. Ancient Egyptians were said to be the first to make them and eating them was a privilege strictly reserved for gods and for royalty, who used the root of the plant and to soothe coughs and sore throats, and to heal wounds. The first marshmallows were prepared by boiling pieces of root pulp with honey until thick. Once thickened, the mixture was strained, cooled, and then used as intended.

In Denmark they are eaten and sometimes exhibited on stage under a banner entitled Hog Svent Ha! and bring good luck to the New Year in various hostages and hostels and environments. Once me and Zit Richards ate 100 of the buggers in one sitting and had to get our folks out to rescue us - a fact I am sure you are interested in and can respond to in some way, although fuck knows how, really. I suppose I hadn't thought it through as usual, another zero replies and 177 views, I'm happy enough with that - and on and on and on I go with this nonsense, day after day, until nobody, not a single soul is left here. 8-)

I've been here long enough to know the real reason why people get fed up. John Coan, Ooogie Boogie, the troll himself in various guises. In your eyes, Coan, it does not really matter what I write, you'll crap anything because you dislike me so much. Even if I wrote something like the theory of relativity, I'd still be a blathering idiot. Because you have made up your mind that it must be so, even when you join in my threads hypocritically, as does happen. I get hits and misses as does everyone else. This is not a pissing contest. I am here because of some genuinely nice people and also to share my passion for music.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Hey, and I've always been a fan of marshmallows. And every other sugary confection of course.
