This must have sounded like the end of the world coming in 1969. Predates Sabbath's debut. Recorded in one week in June 1969.

Simon House certainly brought a new dimension during his 25 year plus on and off tenure to Hawkwind including the two monsters Hall of the Mountain Grill and Warrior on the Edge of Time

Who were their contemporaries? This sounds heavier than Zeppelin, the Jeff Beck Group, presumably pre dates Sabbath...
