Really? He's a little young, but this was a big song in my teen years. It was their first big hit.

I thought very heavily of putting it in my '70s cup list.

Absolutely! I'd also put 'You Dropped a Bomb On Me' and 'Outstanding' in the same basket.

But i know the Baron can be quite judicious when it comes to his funk-soul, and that very late-'70s and '80s sound just might not be his cuppa.

It was an awful thing. 2 lines of nobheads clapping and rocking from side to side whilst sat on the floor.

The song was appropriated by gangs of football fans and changed to "Boots to t' side e' head, boots to sider 'ed".
