One of the bands I toured with did routine pep talks before their gigs. Everybody join hands in the middle and throw them up and shout "rock and roll!"

We really wanted to make fun of them to their faces, but decided that was not the right thing to do.

That's just bizarre.

I mean, my hockey team huddles together at the beginning of each game and shouts "Rice 'n' Beans!", but most sports teams do some variant of that.
