I agree. It works much better live. The studio version just doesn't have any bite to it.
But somehow when you smile, I can brave bad weather.

It wouldn't sound out of place in a broadway musical, but as a stand-alone song it it's kinda pointless.

As can be said for the vast majority of their recordings. Never enough umph or energy, not helped by May's guitar sound.
