'PoM' is ok, but both 'MG' and 'OSNS' are really great. So much going on, so much melody, and Chapman's voice is an acquired taste but doesn't affect my enjoyment of the songs.

Mellowing Grey is brilliant, a Family favorite, although to be fair the whole of the "Dolls House" album is pretty great.

' Mellowing Grey' for me. One of the best second songs ever.

I'm afraid I can't decide as all of them are wonderful. A great band .....should have been bigger than the Beatles

Shame they went to shit after their debut. Bit like Pink Floyd in that sense.

That's the only other Family album I have (probably on the recommendations of some folk here).
I'm not keen, no. By that time there's no trace of the soft-psych that made MIADH so distinctive.

More or less agree with that although I probably like them a little less than you and Chapman's voice is a bit of a problem for me. 'MG' seems to be inspired by Love, while 'OSNS' is inspired by Beefheart.
