Adore it.

I think it's one of the very greatest songs ever made.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

It's wonderful. Probably their finest moment.
I picked it in the cup of course but long before DF's time.

I've really tried with them because on paper they're the kind of thing I should love, but in practice I've always found them overly twee and precious, this song being no exception. It's a no from me.

Like its parent album, I like bits of it (and I'm a pretty big ISB fan).

Not sure why it would be a shock that I like it, or is that sarcasm? I love folk music, I experimental music, and I love music that expresses a sheer sense of wonder and joy. This ticks all the boxes, and some.

I've never had any love for this band. Twee and amateurish....and they're the redeeming qualities

Superb song from one of the finest psychedelic folk albums of the 60s. I think the song that precedes it, “Witches Hat”, is their finest moment though.
