Vintage rock 'n roll, rhythm & blues, old-time soul....yeah, I'd love a American Graffiti-Cup!

Well we couldn't do it in the pre-internet days, could we? What a dumb question.

My mom and dad constantly played music from the '40s in our house growing up and I'd even be comfortable doing one in the '30s, although it would be a little harder.

My folks had records from the '40s, musicals, and Hard Day's Night. That was it.

I could make a 1950s list comfortably, but would struggle to make one for decades earlier than that.

Yeah, yeah, how would YOU have worded it with all the essential info and still make it fit. No-one else has had any trouble understanding it.

For practical reasons, I don't think a pre-50's cup would work very well. Too much of the same stuff will feature on all lists.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Which is why a pre-Beatles cup has been suggested.
