Classic, great to hear it again! I'm gonna put it on an ipod playlist along with 'Ubangi Stomp' tonight.

But "Ubangi Stomp" is racist. Or so I was told when I used it in the R&R Cup.

Really? I don't remember that, but i certainly wouldn't call it rascist.

It's pretty broad, man.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I wouldn't either. How is it racist to admire something?

I get that it paints a bit of a caricature-ish image, a little bit "white colonialists checking out the uncivilized natives". But personally, it's always just seemed to be a song about rocking out and having a good time, losing yourself to the dance and the beat with the other cool cats and hot chicks, which in the end is a very rock and roll thing to do.

Some people inexplicably hear a different "N" word in the line And seen them natives doin' an odd-lookin' skip. I've seen that misquoted a few times.
