Not clear yet, assume so. There's a very long thread on it over on hoffman and expecting rain. Me? I'm just waiting for the inevitable Superdeluxeedition post which will give the detail i need. Hopefully tonight, if not tomorrow.
Suggestion i did read was this might be pricey, 6cd versions of Bootleg Series have crept up in price over recent years.

"sing it again till ya get it right!"
I find this type of collection quite exhausting.

I'm mixed. I was on vol.13. Ended up with a nice MP3 copy from a kind soul. I like that a lot but 6cd's of around a dozen songs, even though they are great/classics, is a tough call to spend £100+ on.
To be honest a nice double vinyl version with the New York session and the remaining tracks from the released album, including Up To Me, might just suffice. Of course there is the chance if you buy the vinyl version off amazon you might end up with mp3's of the whole 6cd set, as often happens. Surely though amazon have wised up to this now. Here's hoping.
I think the vinyl version might only be a double vinyl of the original album. Just from glimpses on hoffman (too complicated to read through 200+ pages.)
All the detail will drop before the weekend, pretty sure on that.

Single CD/Double vinyl version has alternate takes of the 10 tracks on the album + 1 of "Up to Me"

Oh Christ. That thing. Yes it is the poster child for this phenomenon of "too much stuff but I still can't resist."
I was SO Happy to get my hands on a copy, a long time after it came out, and then realized I couldn't even listen to it. It's just, not that different, not that exciting, and objectively not as good, as the real album. They clearly picked the right takes as the "keepers."
It's just not fun for me. I don't think I would want to listen to every Who take either. Maybe it works with jazz, with exciting solos that only ever happen once. I like hearing King Crimson doing radically different improvised versions of the same repertoire.
Even heavily edited collections of "alternate takes" can be tiresome, depending on what they are. There were some alternates on the Who's My Generation box set last year that I hadn't heard before. When I listened to the set, I had kind of the same reaction - it's not as good as the "real"version.
But I understand how other people get into it. We all have our preferences. Just from a historic standpoint I can understand why some people want "every known recorded note" by Bob Dylan to be available. I just prefer the thoughtful, collated version as opposed to the bucket of everything ever done.

I like the idea of having everything so I can curate my OWN version.
The reality is that I seldom get around to actually doing that. But I like the idea.

I'm irrational with "this sort of thing".
I don't need it, I won't play it every day, but...I'll assuredly acquire it in one form or another. The 18 (?) disc set from several years ago was (for me) an absolute treat to listen to.
And the clip above is sounding fucking wonderful. Bob at his best - shit, I'm powerless to resist.

Detail now up on superdeluxeedition:
http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/ ... es-vol-14/
Current pricing for UK - £150 for 6cd, £19 for double vinyl, £10 for the single cd.
See how that changes. Double vinyl I expect for me. Although 6cd does sound very nice, not £150 nice though.
Blood On The Tracks deluxe • 6CD • 70 unreleased recordings • 2LP vinyl
Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings will release in November, the Bob Dylan box set that fans have really been waiting for. More Blood, More Tracks: The Bootleg Series Vol. 14 will be available as a six-CD set that includes “every surviving take” (including the complete New York sessions) from the 1974 studio recordings made by Bob Dylan which resulted in his 1975 classic Blood On The Tracks.
Described by the label as a ‘strictly limited’ deluxe set, this six-disc package features alternate versions of ‘Tangled Up In Blue’ , ‘Simple Twist Of Fate’ and ‘Shelter From The Storm’ and offers up a total of over 70 previously unreleased recordings! The 6CD deluxe of More Blood, More Tracks (there is also a 2LP vinyl and a single CD edition) includes the complete New York sessions in chronological order, including outtakes, false starts and ‘studio banter’.
The reissue producers have worked from best sources available, in most cases utilising the original multi-track session tapes. The only recordings remaining from the Minneapolis sessions are the multi-track masters of the five performances included on the finished Blood On The Tracks album, although these have been remixed and remastered for the deluxe edition.
Packaging looks to be consistent with previous Bootleg Series deluxe editions and features a hardcover book with sleeve notes by Jeff Slate, photographs, and most excitingly a complete reproduction of one of Dylan’s legendary handwritten 57 page notebooks, where you can follow the lyrical development of the songs that would eventually comprise Blood On The Tracks.
More Blood, More Tracks: The Bootleg Series Vol 14 will be released on 2 November 2018

Currently listed at UK251 on Amazon UK. Seems like a steal since Dylan will presumably come and play the album in its entirety in your living room for that kind of money.

The place to go to keep an eye on pricing
http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/ ... ore-144032
Someone saying the 6 CD set is £99.99 at HMV (UK) so Amazon should/will price match soon.

I got the Basement Tapes box at a very good price eventually, so I hope the same will happen with this.
