That's a great song. I didn't know if before his clip was posted but it has a certain Beatles/Kinks feel to it.

There's a local/regional grocery chain (don't look for it, it's not there anymore) which - about 15 years ago - had it programmed as part of its in store music. It was always such a delight to hear it start up while putting cereal in the cart.

It has that laconic Sunny Afternoon vibe to it
I guess its a relative rarity, only ever having been on that one compilation.
The Floyd back catalogue is full of deep cuts of enormous value
But the punters still just want to hear Money, Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here...

It's nice that Dave still does Fat Old Sun to bamboozle the tourists

The most enjoyable Pink Floyd song bar none.
Not the best, not even my favourite, but a constant delight to listen to. I wish they had mined this vibe more often.

I don't mind it, but - better than 'See Emily Play'? or 'Lucifer Sam'?

I'd add another 30 songs to that list, probably.

He kind of specified that he wasn't saying it was "the best..." but that it was the one he enjoyed the most.

Same as I said St Tropez is my favourite on meddle or Summer 68 my favourite on AHM.

And nothing is better than Lucifer Sam.

To be fair, the post you are responding too must be a general thread response because there isn't a human on earth thick enough to read my post and think that I was suggesting it was their best song. You know because of the bit where I said "not the best, not even my favourite".

"The most enjoyable Pink Floyd song bar none."

Which is pretty categorical, isn't it?

Only if your channel of comprehension is too narrow to understand that most enjoyable and best are not necessarily the same thing.
And, I repeat because I have to having already said it twice and you have ignored it or not understood it twice, especially when it is specifically stated straight afterwards that "most enjoyable" does not equate to best. Thicko.

'most enjoyable track bar none' is nothing like 'the track that I enjoy most' - and you know full well it isn't

but carry on being a supercilious wanker if you please
