My gut feeling is "more Magnificent than Unfortunate," but it's certainly no Apollo 100.

Ha...this is what I wrote before I saw Charlie’s post:

I’ll go.

Neither magnificent nor unfortunate. But closer to magnificent.

Shouldn’t work. Does.
The opinions of this poster are subjective. That’s how opinions work.

A cheesy hit, but hit without a doubt. I love how for a while you could put a disco beat on anything and a million suckers would buy it.

My favorite thing about it is how, 20+ years later, he parlayed it into a job doing the music for Family Guy. Weirdest feel good story ever.

Better than the original, but still crap.

I always imagine Dr Teeth playing that keyboard in it.

I dug it on the Saturday Night Fever-soundtrack as a kid
Now it doesn't work so much for me.

That image actually improves it in my mind

Same here!

It's somewhere in between the 2 choices for me - I can appreciate the art and clever twist behind it, but as a tune its never been one i've really liked or sought out.

I quite like the original, with the caveat that the Orchestra of the Theater an der Wien had already ploughed through the Sixth Symphony and the Fourth Piano Concerto before they tackled it.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I like "An 8-Ball of Rachmaninoff" better.

I voted before I read the Dr. Teeth suggestion.
It might have made a difference.
I voted shit.

All of those and more are on this LP:

It's...well, it's exactly what you'd expect it to be.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
