It is a remarkably broad church... don't think I've heard a Def Leppard album all the way thru' mind.

Ditto

Really fitted with the weather we're currently experiencing in dear ol' Blighty - for us it is remarkably hot and sultry.

A great album, (not too sure how prog it is!) and astonishing for a debut.

Many thanks all, have great weekends.

i sympathize with the weather there. i'm used to it; y'all aren't. the one time i got to wimbledon, it was low 70s with very low humidity. to me, it was, wow, this is almost autumn!! mwhahaha. too much time in the swamp for me.

keep in mind i would live in alaska if i could.

p.s. i will not get into my def leppard love at this juncture in time. of all the hair bands in the 80s, they were the catchiest. some folk see that as a negative. not i. however, i will not push for a def leppard synch listen. for now.

I'm not a typical Def Leppard fan. I find somewhat diminishing returns the further along I go in the catalog (Kath will smack me for this.... Thank you ma'am may I have another?   ). After Hysteria things get very hit and miss. I do have a serious love for the debut album. Wasted is my favorite DL song. Steve Clark wrote it on the bus between gigs on one of their early tours. Joe Elliott said he just got his guitar out and the riff came out immediately and when he walked off the bus he had the whole song written.

I will put it on my list. Perhaps in 2020

I have never paid much attention to them.

Having been discussed here I watched a BBC series called 'Classic Albums' where Def Leppard were talking about the making of Hysteria.

Sadly, I wasn't impressed [sorry kath]
