I thought about replying but it's not about sentences, it's more about these isolated words within them

Bollocks.
Maybe not on this male-dominated forum, but in the real world that is exactly what happens.
That’s why Duran Duran were mega, and Thomas Dolby was an also ran.
Repeat ad infinitum with long lists of pretty boys vs credible musicians.

Are you deliberately not getting my point?

Not deliberately.
Don’t want to fall out though.

A lot of great ones here. Would definitely add Frederick (my favorite PS song) and (screw Coan) most of Horses.

Her performance on R&RN pretty much puts the “Debbie Harry is a better singer” argument to bed.

R&RN is one of my least favorite Patti songs. Not due to the use of the word - though I do admit to having a visceral reaction to hearing it from a white person - but because I think it's built on a false theory. No, you don't get to redefine the word just because you're an artist.

It's a really thrilling blast. I like its transgressiveness

The intro to it's great, though.

I love the way she says "grandma toooo!".

Marilyn Manson has a song with the same title. i wouldn't even inflict that one on Davey.

I think I speak for everyone when I say we eagerly await the release of hatz’s Annotated Rules For Artists.

No such thing exists. I was giving an opinion on one particular piece of "art" that I find pretentious. You have done the same.

If you prefer, I can accuse her of faking the funk.

Probably not helping things here, but Patti Smith was exceptional looking and frankly gorgeous!

She clearly didn’t care about trying to appear glamorous. But yeah...she could be really striking.
