I like almost anything with a gong on it.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Where's the cowbell?

Think they're clever - there are many twists and turns, lots of sections to the songs, keep things moving, never allowing a riff/section to become overdone to boredom level.

Schenker left the band shortly after this album was released. Freaked out at how it was climbing the charts and had just broken up with a girlfriend, he went AWOL in Europe. Paul Chapman filled in for him on the first leg of the tour. He eventually called to get his gear back and Pete Way talked him back into the band.

A good point well made

I love the way they juxtapose the strings too

i have the cowbell.

they so often get reduced to a basic rock band... but this track is a perfect example of where all they go.

Michael recorded the acoustics on this song at home! They couldn't recapture the vibe of them in the studio so they used his original cassette recording of them on the master.

I'm about 3 minutes into Love to love and it's reminding me of the Strawbs more than anyone else.

I probably have it - I have bought enough UFO on CD to finance Phil Mogg's kids' way through college.

This is one of Michael most unearthly solos. Just frighteningly godly.

For some reason those piano interludes paint a picture of stars coming out at night in my mind.
