BCB top Kylie - results out now

Postby Brickyard Jack » 06 May 2018, 19:51

So Kylie turns 50 on 28 May.

To celebrate, let's have one of those "find BCB's fave track" thing like we did with the stones and Bowie etc.

PM me your top 20 Kylie tracks (or as many as you can bare) in order, and I will allocate 24 points to the top one and 5 points to number 20, add them all up and produce a list.

Lists in by 23 May.

Really? Is it likely anyone here can name more than 3 or 4 Kylie tracks, or have I badly misjudged something, and she actually was the 5th Beatle?

Yes, I can. No, she isn't the 5th Beatle. I think it's one of those situations - you may have come across them before actually - when other people like different music to you, and it takes you by surprise.
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.

On this site, everyone likes different music to me. And no, generally, it isn't because they're always banging on about the likes of Kylie. Was that not obvious?

I bet everyone here can name at least 1 kylie track, which is more than can be said about a lot of acts discussed on the board.

Just list the couple you can name in order. It is just a bit of fun. For the fun of it.

Sorry, forgive my clipped, incoherent style of writing. I get so used to everyone ignoring me that clarity doesn't usually serve a purpose.

I was just trying to say that I thought it obvious that the point of my post was that this board's tastes are by and large very much set in the dark and distant days of the 60s, and nothing to do with my personal tastes.

Christ, as much as I dislike most of Kylie's output, to see a music video in colour would be a marvel.

I'd love to see everyone get into this, even if they throw the 3 songs of hers they actually like, it'll be fun at the very least!

I'm not sure I'll be able to get to 20 myself, but I'll try!

And draw distinctions between versions - forexample the "intimate and live" version of i should be so lucky is radically different to the single
