The accent seemed superfluous.

One vote only for the marvellous Love Action

Andy Hernandez (Coati Mundi) was a low-level gangster on Miami Vice.
He gets my vote.

I always hear his name as spoken by Vic Reeves - was Mr Mundi a contestant on Shooting Stars at all?
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

I doubt it, but he was pals with Kid Creole.

What a dude!

I went with Specials, Grace Jones and Yoko. Walking on thin ice is just about the best thing she ever did.

No In The Air Tonight? This was before Collins became very uncool so I thought it may make the list, but perhaps his Genesis association ruled him out of appearing on an NME list

I like 'Tears' a lot, but in the end 'Poison Arrow' and 'The Look of Love' were much stronger singles.

Should have been even huger...

I couldn't vote for just 3 so didn't - my 4 are 'Ghost', 'Adventures', 'Love Action' and 'Bumper'.
