First song sounds like a fairy tale
Listening to Harem Scarem (I've got a contact called Harem Kim and I always call him Harem Scarem forgot this is where I got that from)

And as always, a special hello to the lovely and magical Kath!

There's such a glorious mash of influences - rock, classical/baroque, jazz, funk & folk leavened with pathos and a touch of humour that it reaches a spot that few other bands can. Great musicality.

It's a shame 'musical differences' got in the way and that they couldn't make just one more great album

Harpsichord. An under-utilised instrument.

Kath wants one.

I always forget how awesome Jan is shame he went obscure solo. Although do love a few of those solo albums.
I would also love to see the modern day Focus, shame they never play america except that stupid cruise (not getting me on a boat with a bunch of 40 and 50 year old prog fans (eeeek)

I think it would be quite a feat to even get Thijs and Jan in the same room together. It happens, unfortunately.

Yep. The structures they construct, the sheer musicality is so impressive - it seems very organic.

yes love the harpsichord! Very under used in rock. Hence I fell hard for Tori Amos back in the early 90's when I went to see her and she had one on tour.
