I bet the Heifer loves this track. I'll wait for him to come and sort some of the empty fraudulent bores out.

Heifer’ll ‘listen’ to that video with the sound off anyway.

News just in!

New David Lynch movie! "The Tearoom", starring Dame Judi Dench and Jim Broadbent! An everyday story of a northern tearoom and the characters who frequent it!

The Telegraph calls it, "a surprisingly moving meditation on growing old and the joys of scones. A new Straight Story".

Out in the UK in June!

Oooh Strange Earth the new Lynch features a talking monkey and OOOFFFF the return of 50s screen idol Gloria Faye who sings 'How High The Moon' while the monkey plays with itself. It's dystoptic and terpsichorlean - classic Lynchian themes recur - and in a bizarre twilight scene a tall fella shouts incoherently at a bedroom door - a reference to something dreamlike from another film! Phew! Heavy symbolism! oooohhh and a cameo by a David Bowie lookalike - no, 18 David Bowie lookalikes! that'll get them talking!

He's a local guy and I used to go see him when they were called Silvertone. I'm an unabashed fan but I love how he combines Roy Orbinson into his own style. I like Wicked Game, but I like when he nasty ups his Orbinson thing, as below.

I remember Fireplug writing on here years ago that he had tickets to a show of his, wasn't particularly looking forward to it, and writing afterwards how great it was. I've never been to a Chris Isaaks show I haven't loved. Great band too.

His HBO show, which lasted a couple seasons was really funny.

Somewhere between "good" and "great."
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I’d say the song is very good. It has this Roy Orbison vibe to it that I really like and hook good enough to hold my attention. Even as a huge David Lynch fan, I actually knew of this song long before I watched any of his films.

They haven't seen the light of my teachings up to this point, what makes you think they're suddenly going to start listening now?

Yes I like it, Chris Isaak as a concept in general is pretty good, very affable, entertaining interviewee, and not that I've really listened to much beyond what I've heard on the radio those songs have been enjoyable, even if I didn't recognise it with "Wicked Game" at the time, considering I was about 7 or 8 then!

It hit its mark of Nuevo Orbison noir vibe and doomed, retro romanticism. It’s great and clearly the best thing he’s ever came up with.
