Julee Cruise poll
Badalamenti is some kind of God.
All of 'em are wonderful but pick 2.

Isn't she?
I know some people didn't like her in the new Twin peaks but I thought she was good.

Mysterious of Love is really gorgeous. I adore that one.
The rest are so linked to Twin Peaks that you can't separate them from the show which is not a bad thing obviously. There's that scene in Fire Walk With Me with Laura in the bar and Questions is playing and it really breaks your heart.
The World Spins is my other favourite though. All that "don't go away" stuff really hits hard. When Lynch used that at the end of episode 17 of The Return is was just so perfect, so right. I welled up instantly.

Her first album is sublime, I saw her on a Jonathan Ross show sing Rocking Back Inside Your Heart. Bought the album as soon as I could.
The Mysteries of Love and Questions for me. Questions is one of the most heart wrenching pieces of music ever.

It is, but I haven't really thought of her much since.

It'll have to be Falling, bound up as it is with my first sight of Twin Peaks.

I don't associate Falling with Twin Peaks as I had the album first. Always sounds odd without lyrics to me.

That’s a properly tough poll. I’m going with “Mysteries of Love” and “Nightingale” though.

Yeah, credit where it's due - he absolutely nailed that sound. A kind of perfection.
'Falling' and 'Nightingale' for me.

There's a different version, with french horn on the soundtrack album, which is even better than the version you posted. It's a stunningly beautiful track.
