Between the two, and depending on the song, I'd rather listen to the Monkees.

I've always liked Charlie the best.

Re: rank the Stones!
Mick - the guy who gets the shit done in a group of otherwise useless individuals
Brian - nostalgic choice
Bill - good songwriter, Monkey Grip is amazingly good and fun
Mick T - esp. on John Mayall records
Charlie - solid guy, his drumming is pretty good as well
Ian - see Charlie but slightly less interesting
Ronnie - be fun to hang out with
Keith - kind of over his shit these days

Definitely something like that, though I would probably switch Mick T with Mick J. T's playing is Salacious as hell, obviously, but Mick is one of those singers (Plant and Daltrey are the other two) that held their own with more talented band-mates by sheer force of will. That's too easily underrated, and while he's not been great for many years, neither have any of the others (save Charlie maybe - he's always Charlie).

Yeah probably, I can't argue with any of that. I just don't find Jagger very likable. My list is informed by a mixture of objective musical analysis and blind prejudice!

I can't believe two people placed Ron Wood over Mick Taylor.

Mick Taylor is the dullest turkey fucker to ever pick up a guitar. I don't care how many 'hot licks' he contributed to those horrible early 70s Stones LPs

1. Mick Taylor wasn’t in The Faces.
2. I’d rather have a drink with Ron Wood.
