Incredible.

SG is woefully overlooked here.

I don't think he is. Historie.. is one of BCB's albums. But his output is wildly inconsistent which means people tend to skim the surface or cherry pick very selectively, which in turn makes it harder to discuss him.

I bought his integrale a couple of years ago - a tremendous body of work.

I thinK the hard part is to wade through Serge's big body of work and sort the wheat from the chaff.... his reggae years were pretty much the latter. Always felt he was taking the piss a lot of the time (not always the worst thing but some of his later albums do sound like he didn't care very much).

This track is the opposite- effortlessly cool and breathless. And sexy.

He has made some of the very worst music ever.
And not got anywhere near making some of the best

Though he's made plenty that's good, it is hugely outweighed by the comically rubbish.
But he was French. What did anyone expect?
They've not made great music since the days of Ravel, Debussy and Satie.
Complete Ramones Mp3 set on its way
